
The Association of Trust Organizations is pleased to announce the appointment of a new board member, Jennie Menzie of Cumberland Trust.
“Menzie brought a new perspective to our Annual Meeting,” said President Bryant Jones. “I know she will continue to bring a unique insight to our organization and find ways to help us better serve our members.”
Menzie became involved in ATO with a significant role in planning our 2021 Annual Meeting in Amelia Island, Florida. She is the president, COO and corporate counsel for Cumberland Trust and leads the external and internal strategic initiatives for the company. Menzie holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Auburn University and is a licensed attorney, receiving her J.D. from Vanderbilt School of Law. She also holds a Master of Taxation (LL.M.) from the University of Florida School of Law. She is also a fellow in charitable estate planning from the Institute of Charitable Estate Planning.
“Our Board of Directors is full of dedicated individuals who strive to provide the best opportunities to others in the trust industry,” said Past President Stuart B. Allen. “We are excited to have Jennie join the board to help us further our mission.”
